Our Women’s Healthcare Services
Our women’s healthcare services are for women at all stages of life and health. Whether you’re establishing care for your child, planning a family, or simply looking to maintain your health with preventative care, we are here to help! We also provide care for any acute women’s health conditions that may arise.
Our services include:
- Routine gynecological screenings and exams
- Annual exams
- Testing and treatment for infections
- Contraceptive counseling
- Gonorrhea and chlamydia testing and in-clinic treatment
Conditions We Treat
In addition to women’s preventative healthcare services, we also offer care for acute women’s health conditions. Some of these conditions include:
- Yeast infections
- Bacterial vaginosis
- Trichomonas
- Urinary tract and bladder infections
- Sexually transmitted infections/diseases
It’s important, specifically with infections like UTIs and bladder infections, to be seen and tested in the clinic for accuracy, and to rule out any issues that might mimic these infections. We do not recommend virtual care appointments for these conditions.
Nebraska Home Pediatrics & Parents perform rapid urinalysis tests in our clinic for bladder infections/UTIs, and send the urine specimens out for culture. Other tests (yeast infection, bacterial vaginosis, trichomonas, gonorrhea and chlamydia) are sent out for testing, with results typically coming in the following day.
When to Book a Visit at a Women’s Health Clinic:
If you are experiencing any of the conditions above — especially if they are interfering with your daily life — it’s highly recommended to book an appointment at a clinic that provides high-quality, compassionate women’s health services. Nebraska Home Pediatrics & Parents is understanding and provides discreet, acute care for women’s health.
We also feel strongly about women’s preventative healthcare! Staying up-to-date on necessary annual exams, checkups, and screenings is an essential piece of your overall healthcare. Our friendly staff is always ready to help you schedule an appointment or establish care.
Here’s what patients have to say about our Women’s Health Services in Omaha, NE!
Nebraska Home Pediatrics & Parents has been great to our family!
Kids don’t get sick from 9-5M-F at your convenience and the staff recognizes that. Being able to get a kid in first thing Saturday for an ear infection or flu test helps the entire family recover quicker. Not to mention the cleanliness of the facility and not feeling like you’ll get sick from just being in the waiting room.
So thankful for Erin Thoman and Nebraska Home Pediatrics this weekend!
While I was out of town and my son was sick, my husband was able to get him at the office during the weekend urgent care hours! He was seen quickly and taken care of! Does a mom heart good knowing we receive great care!
