How the Testing is Done
Once you have arrived in the parking lot, our staff will first make sure patient registration is complete and check you in. The medical providers performing the test will be wearing personal protective equipment. The swab is skinny, soft-tipped and the specimen is collected by nasopharyngeal route. It’s important to ensure the patient is relaxed as they will feel a tickling sensation that could cause their eyes to water or make them sneeze.
