Erin Thoman, MSN, APRN-NP, FNP-BC
Board Certified, Army Veteran
2953 S. 168th St, Suite 101, Omaha, NE 68130
An Omaha native, Erin Thoman grew up in the area, being active and playing soccer competitively before completing boot camp and medic training in the Army after high school. After returning to Omaha, she completed her undergraduate program at the University of Nebraska Medical Center learning her Bachelors of Science in Nursing.
Erin spent her bedside nursing career caring for the resilient babies in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit at both Bergan Mercy Medical Center and Methodist Women’s Hospital. During this time, she returned to school and completed her graduate degree at UNMC and received her Masters of Science in Nursing.
Working in inpatient pediatrics at Children’s Hospital and Medical Center — as well as outpatient clinics including infectious disease, family medicine, and urgent care — set the stage for her transition to in-home pediatric care and the foundation of Nebraska Home Pediatrics & Parents. Erin enjoys and values the relationships she gets to build with the families who come to NHP&P, and feels honored to be a small part of their story.
Erin enjoys spending her free time with her husband and their four kids. And while they all love spending time being active outside and traveling together, she can’t help but treasure the everyday things, like dinners at home as a family.
