The team at Nebraska Home Pediatrics & Parents is comprised of board-certified nurse practitioners who are trained and licensed to provide primary care for wellness exams, treat minor illnesses and injuries, and write prescriptions when medically appropriate. In the summer of 2018, school physicals with immunizations at the home were offered as an additional service. Unfortunately because NHP&P’s in-home healthcare model was unfamiliar to and unrecognized by many insurance payers, Nebraska Home Pediatrics & Parents began offering these services from an approved exam room and office location. This allowed house calls for sick visits to continue, while protecting healthy children from exposure to sickness during their well-child visits.

In January 2023, Nebraska Home Pediatrics & Parents opened the doors to their first brick-and-mortar clinic located near 168th and Center. Nurse practitioners continue to see patients at their homes for sick visits while providing care for pediatric and primary care, illnesses and minor injuries to patients at the clinic. In the spring of 2023, Nebraska Home Pediatrics & Parents updated their business name to Nebraska Home Pediatrics & Parents after adding adult services to the clinic.
